The right people are in the room. They just never find each other. This is the paradox of elite, high-density events — and the specific failure that LUMINA is built to eliminate.
Proof of Talk 2026 brings 2,500 of the most powerful decision-makers in digital assets into the Louvre Palace for two days. They collectively control $18 trillion in assets under management. 85% are C-suite executives, fund managers, or founders with real capital deployment authority.
And yet — they still miss the people they should be meeting.
"A sovereign wealth fund allocator sits three tables away from the tokenisation startup they have been looking for, and neither of them knows it."
A blockchain infrastructure CEO spends two days next to a DeFi protocol founder without realising they both need the same institutional partner. A Series A founder shakes hands with a GP who has written exactly this check before, and neither of them makes the connection until the event is over.
Brella. Grip. Hopin. They are glorified attendee directories. You scroll through a list, filter by company or job title, and send a generic connection request. For a $5,000-per-ticket event at the Louvre Palace, this is not just inadequate — it is embarrassing. The real problem is not access. It is intelligence. Nobody has built a tool that understands who each person actually is, what they are actually looking for, and who they should actually meet — before they walk through the door.
An AI-powered relationship intelligence platform built exclusively for high-stakes events. Not a directory. An intelligence engine that reads mandates, strategic positions, and deal readiness — then tells you exactly who to meet, why, and what to say.
Think of LUMINA as a senior relationship manager who has read every attendee's background before the event, sat in on their last board meeting, and prepared a personalised briefing for each person. But instead of being a human advisor serving ten people, LUMINA does this for all 2,500 attendees simultaneously.
Brella and Grip show you who people are. LUMINA understands what they need. When you register, you state your mandate — "I am deploying $200M into tokenised real-world assets and seeking regulated custody solutions." LUMINA reads that mandate and compares it against every other attendee's profile, capabilities, and deal readiness. It does not match you to someone with a similar job title. It matches you to someone who can actually help you achieve your goal at this event.
Every match comes with a compatibility score from 0 to 100, a deal signal — HOT WARM or EXPLORATORY — and three levels of explanation: why you should meet, the non-obvious insight the AI discovered, and a specific agenda for your conversation. You do not scroll through a list of 2,500 people. You see your top five matches, ranked, explained, and actionable.
HOT means both parties are actively deploying capital and a transaction is possible within weeks. WARM means opportunity exists but timing is developing. EXPLORATORY means relationship-building for future opportunity. This single layer of intelligence tells you where to spend your limited time at the event.
LUMINA was built from scratch using Base44 — a full-stack AI application builder. What follows is the complete origin story: every phase, every model, every decision that brought this product to life.
The founding design brief was unambiguous: Brutally luxurious. Bloomberg Terminal meets a $5,000 gala ticket. Dark, dense, precise.
Five core entities power the entire LUMINA platform. Each was designed to carry not just data, but intelligence signals.
name · title · company · role (Delegate/Speaker/Sponsor/VIP) · bio · mandate · interests (13 categories) · AUM · dealReadiness · linkedinUrl · twitterHandle · avatarColor · initials · isCurrentUser · userRole
attendeeA · attendeeB · score (0–100) · reason · nonObviousInsight · tags · dealReadinessSignal · status · priority
title · session_type · day · start_time · end_time · location · speaker_name · speaker_title · speaker_company · description · tags · capacity · ratings · average_rating
Message — senderId · receiverId · matchId · content · isRead
MeetingRequest — requesterId · recipientId · time slot · location · status
Notification — recipientId · type · title · body · isRead · session_update · shortened
LUMINA is not a chatbot attached to a directory. The AI is the core of the product — a multi-stage pipeline that reads, enriches, scores, and explains every connection.
When an attendee registers, LUMINA's enrichment pipeline fires automatically. It fetches the attendee's company website using Jina AI — a read-anywhere web intelligence tool — and extracts up to 3,000 characters of company context. Then it passes all data to Claude AI with a structured prompt.
The AI returns a complete Attendee Intelligence Profile with eight structured fields:
2–3 sentences describing who this person really is strategically — not just their job title
Their role in the broader market ecosystem — buyer, builder, enabler, or regulator
Current financial position, deployment capacity, and urgency signals
Whether they can transact alone or require board or committee approval
5 matching dimensions that define their ideal counterparties
0–100 numerical signal reflecting urgency, transactability, and deployment timeline
2–3 non-obvious topics that will unlock real dialogue — the questions nobody asks
Hard constraints the AI detected that limit match possibilities — jurisdictions, sectors, check sizes
Result: a composite score capped at 99. The top 5 matches per attendee are selected, deduplicated, and passed to the explanation engine.
For each match pair, the AI generates three distinct layers — not generic suggestions, but intelligence calibrated to these specific two people.
References both attendees' actual business situations. It does not say "you both work in finance." It says "Marcus Chen's VaultBridge is already live with three European banks, which is exactly the institutional validation Amara Okafor's mandate requires before committing sovereign wealth capital."
The angle that surface-level matching would miss. The connection that no keyword search would have found. The strategic dimension that only emerges when two intelligence profiles are compared in depth.
Three specific talking points calibrated to both attendees' goals and deal readiness. Specific enough to walk into a meeting with immediately — not prompts, but actual conversation starters.
Five real profiles. Five AI-generated match recommendations. This is what LUMINA's intelligence layer produces — not keyword-filtered suggestions, but relationship intelligence built from mandate analysis, capital positions, and strategic goals.
Eight steps from invitation to follow-up. Every touchpoint designed to feel like a $5,000 event, not a free meetup.
The organiser generates a unique 8-character access code and QR code per attendee. Scanning takes the attendee directly to their personalised registration page with code pre-filled. The QR code is downloadable as a premium branded image with LUMINA gold borders and event branding.
Step one: name, title, company, email, company website. Step two: bio, mandate, deal readiness. Step three: 13 interest categories as gold selection chips with minimum 2 required. LinkedIn and X handle collected. Step four: profile summary with Activate My Profile button.
THE MANDATE FIELD
The mandate field is the foundation of everything the AI does next. "What are you actually at this event to achieve? Are you deploying capital? Seeking technology partnerships? Looking for co-investors?" This single field drives 35% of the match score.
The moment registration is complete, LUMINA's enrichment pipeline activates. Jina AI fetches the company website. Claude AI builds the full Attendee Intelligence Profile. The Matches page shows a gold pulsing ring with animated shimmer card placeholders. When matches are ready — typically within 60–90 seconds — they appear with a gold flash animation and real-time update.
Five match cards appear. Each shows the matched person's name, title, company, a circular compatibility score ring (gold for HOT, green for WARM), and a deal signal badge. Three tabs: Why Meet · Insight · Agenda. The welcome overlay fades in on first visit, explaining what the platform is about to show them.
From a match card, the attendee requests a meeting with one click. Time slot selection. Zone selection — Salle Richelieu, Salle Mollien, Grande Galerie Lounge, East Wing Terrace, or Main Atrium. The other party receives a notification and can accept or decline from their Schedule page. Confirmed meetings appear in both calendars and can be saved as a standard .ics file (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook compatible).
The organiser uses LUMINA's Check-In system as attendees arrive. Each attendee is assigned to a zone. LUMINA immediately notifies their top three matches: "Amara Okafor just arrived and is in the Main Atrium." Passive check-in becomes an active connection trigger.
Confirmed meeting cards have a Notes button. As the attendee types, a live AI summary preview appears after 2 seconds — extracting key points and action items automatically. Both full notes and AI summary are saved.
Mark meeting as Completed. Generate Follow-Up button fires a full professional follow-up email draft using notes and AI summary as context — specific to what was discussed, naming action items, proposing next steps. The draft can be edited, regenerated, copied, or sent directly as a message. No more staring at a blank screen wondering what to write.
LUMINA has eight primary attendee screens. Each has been designed, iterated, and refined to operate as both a beautiful interface and an intelligent data layer.
Dark, minimal. A single gold invite code field in the centre. For new attendees: starts 4-step registration. For returning attendees on a new device: entering their code logs them back in silently. A subtle link below offers "Sign in with email" for those who forgot their code. Four distinct authentication scenarios — every path leads to the right place.
The most important screen in the app. Gold pulsing ring during AI generation. Animated shimmer card placeholders. On completion, cards appear with a gold flash. Five match cards, fully tabbed, actionable from the card itself.
The match removal flow is intelligent by design — instead of a simple delete button, a modal appears with three options: "Already connected with this person," "Not relevant to my goals," or "Wrong fit for my mandate." The selected reason feeds directly into the algorithm — adjusting future match scores within seconds.
Accepting matches, sending meeting requests, confirming meetings, and sending messages all count positively. Active attendees receive up to 20% improvement in their match scores.
If a previously removed match later scores high enough, it reappears with a gold RECONNECT badge in the top-left corner. LUMINA turns an awkward re-encounter into a deliberate second look.
When two attendees independently save the same event sessions, this behavioural signal adds points to their match score and generates a Same Sessions tag on their match card.
AI evaluates true strategic fit beyond keyword overlap — comparing mandate vectors, capital states, and complementarity dimensions for genuine alignment.
Real-time messaging between matched attendees. Unread message counts on each conversation row and in the navigation tab. A gold compose button opens a people-picker overlay to message anyone at the event.
For matched pairs, the message input shows an AI ghost opening message in italic text — written by LUMINA specifically for this pair based on match score and connection reasons. Tab accepts the suggestion as editable text. Pressing any other key clears it.
Messages appear as gold bubbles (sent) and dark bubbles (received). Hovering reveals four emoji reaction options — saved and displayed below the message for both participants. When the other person is composing, three animated dots appear — real-time, no refresh needed. Typing indicators — live without page reload.
Attendees can pin important conversations to the top of their Messages list. The most critical relationships stay visible without scrolling.
Three sections: personal event session schedule at top, confirmed meetings in the middle, pending meeting requests at the bottom. Session count badge on the tab always shows how many sessions are saved.
Confirmed meeting cards have been significantly upgraded. Each card has three actions: Save to Calendar (universal .ics download), Notes (inline text area with live AI summary after 2-second pause), and Mark as Completed (unlocks Generate Follow-Up).
Either party can propose a new meeting time directly from the Schedule page without restarting the request flow. The other party receives a notification and can accept the reschedule with one tap.
An AI-powered session recommendations panel appears on the Schedule page — sessions LUMINA believes this specific attendee should attend, based on profile and existing saves. Recommendations appear in a scrollable row and can be added with one tap.
Session cards with gold vertical time indicator. Type badges. Room with pin icon. Speaker name with avatar. Add to Schedule button changes to gold filled Added checkmark.
Full hour-by-hour time grid. Sessions and confirmed meetings side by side. A red line moves in real time showing exactly where the event is right now. Mobile: one scrollable column. Desktop: both days side by side.
Interactive SVG floor plan of the Louvre Palace. Rooms light gold when sessions are scheduled. Green pulsing dot for live sessions. Gold star on rooms with the attendee's saved sessions.
The Session Detail page — accessible by tapping any session title anywhere in the app — contains the full session experience: type badge, speaker card tappable to open their profile, AI-generated professional description, topic tags, live 5-star rating (with star wave animation), related sessions horizontal scroll, and share button (native share sheet on mobile, clipboard copy on desktop).
Adding a session that overlaps with a confirmed meeting triggers a warning modal: "This session overlaps with a confirmed meeting. Add Anyway or Keep Meeting." Both choices are respected.
Opens with a time-aware greeting using the attendee's first name and today's date. Six live cards form a grid: Sessions · Discover · Daily Briefing · Challenges · Leaderboard · AI Content Hub.
A proactive alert card appears prominently — one high-value daily insight generated fresh each morning using the attendee's profile, matches, meeting schedule, and live web research. Dismissable. Refreshes each day.
Gold glow border. Dark input area. Three gold suggestion chips as starting points. Reset button. Messages as gold right-side bubbles (sent) and dark left-side bubbles (received) with markdown rendering — bold names, bullet points, structured recommendations. Three gold pulsing dots animate while LUMINA is thinking.
LUMINA knows: full attendee profile · top 5 matches with scores and reasons · meeting history · leaderboard rank · complete event schedule · and has access to live web search for market conditions, news, and company research. Full conversation history stored as individual database records — no cap, no loss, available across all devices and sessions.
An animated gold circular ring shows profile completeness percentage, updating in real time. Contextual message changes with percentage — red warning below 40%, orange nudge from 40–70%, gold encouragement from 70–90%, green confirmation above 90%.
A single quest card shows the one most important thing to do right now to improve match quality. Tips adapt intelligently — if the mandate field is short, it appears first. When a tip is satisfied, a gold particle burst animation fires. When all fields are complete, the quest card is replaced by a gold card reading "Your profile is fully AI-optimised for matching."
Four milestone celebrations fire at 40%, 70%, 90%, and 100% — each exactly once per attendee lifetime. At 90%+ completion, the attendee's top matches receive a notification that new insights are available.
Extended profile fields — professional interests, current projects, and event goals — give the AI richer material. Custom profile photo upload. Attendee bookmarks (private, persistent). Re-enrichment trigger when profile is updated.
A real-time activity feed showing what is happening across the platform: matches being generated, meetings being confirmed, new attendees joining, sessions being saved. Each activity type has a distinct colour indicator.
Seeing that six new matches were generated in the last ten minutes, or that a keynote session just crossed fifty saves, creates a sense of a living event rather than a static app. The organiser has access to a platform-wide aggregate activity metrics view.
A complete operations dashboard for total event intelligence and control. Separate from the attendee interface, built for the team managing 2,500 decisions at the Louvre Palace.
Four live stats: total registered attendees · total AI matches generated · meetings confirmed · messages sent. All update in real time. Below: the five highest-scoring match pairs with compatibility scores. Deal readiness distribution across the entire attendee base.
Every attendee listed with avatar, name, title, company, role badge, AI enrichment status, and deal readiness score ring. Search and filter instantly. Full profile editing. QR code download as branded premium image. VIP marking. Profile boosting. Private organiser notes per attendee.
Every AI-generated match visible with scores, reasons, and tags. Priority adjustment — high, medium, low — affects how prominently it appears for attendees. Match suppression removes it from both attendee views without deleting the record.
All meeting requests across the platform in one view, filterable by status. The organiser can confirm or decline any pending meeting as an override — useful for logistics management with multiple rooms and time constraints.
Full platform-wide conversation view, searchable and filterable. Operational awareness of which connections are generating active dialogue, which attendees are engaging deeply, and whether messaging reflects the event's purpose.
Engagement metrics · meeting volume trends · popular interest categories · common mandate phrases · deal readiness distribution · match score distribution · message sentiment analysis showing overall communication tone.
Adding or editing a session is handled by a completely redesigned modal that eliminates human error. The system is aware of everything happening on the schedule before a single slot is selected.
A full visual timeline of the event. Rooms as horizontal rows. Hours across the top. Session blocks positioned precisely — colour-coded by type: gold for keynotes, blue for panels, green for roundtables, orange for workshops.
Pick up any session block and move it. Green ghost preview for valid slot, red for occupied. Optimistic update — timeline updates before the network call completes, rolls back automatically on failure. Touch support for iPad and mobile organiser use.
Left and right edge handles resize session duration. Tooltip above the handle shows the new time live. Conflict detection runs in real time — resize is rejected with explanation if it would overlap another session. Touch support with 12px grab zones.
Before any session move or resize is saved, LUMINA checks how many attendees have that session saved. If greater than zero: confirmation modal shows affected count and "Move & Notify" button. Saving triggers instant in-app notification AND branded Mailgun email to every affected attendee with old→new time comparison. Each change type produces the correct notification: moved · extended · shortened.
Pass 1: Move conflicted session to nearest free slot in same room. Pass 2: If same room is full, try other rooms — reports each room change as an amber warning. Pass 3: Shorten session to fit in available slot — reports each duration change. Sessions that cannot be resolved by any method are listed in a red panel for manual intervention. All affected attendees are notified automatically for every resolved session.
Trend graph per session showing save count history and save rate per hour. The organiser sees not just how many saved — but whether momentum is growing or declining.
Progress bar per session: green below 50%, amber 50–80%, red above 80%. At 85% capacity: amber warning with AI-generated venue swap suggestion. Suggest to Attendees button sends personalised recommendations to the 5 most relevant attendees for under-attended sessions.
The organiser searches for arriving attendees by name or company. Assigns them to a zone. Taps Check In. The system immediately notifies the checked-in attendee's top three matches: "Marcus Chen has just arrived and is in the Grande Galerie Lounge." Passive arrivals become active connection opportunities in real time.
Intelligence that motivates, educates, and rewards. The layers beneath the matching engine that keep attendees engaged, active, and maximally prepared.
Structured challenges with types — connecting, messaging, confirming meetings, completing profiles, saving sessions — each with a target, points reward, and badge icon. Progress bars track each challenge in real time. Completion triggers a celebration. The challenge system creates a natural onboarding path that feels like a game, not an onboarding flow.
The Leaderboard shows each attendee's current rank and whether it has risen or fallen since their last visit. A seven-day rank sparkline shows engagement trajectory. Highly engaged attendees become visible to other highly engaged attendees — a quality-attracts-quality dynamic.
Every morning, LUMINA generates a fresh personalised intelligence briefing for every attendee on the platform simultaneously — without any attendee needing to request it. When they open the app, the briefing is already there.
A one-sentence personalised welcome. 2–3 priorities for the day — specific actions like following up with a named match or preparing for a confirmed meeting. 2–3 match opportunities calling out specific people by name with their actual percentage compatibility score. Quick tips tailored to the attendee's current platform situation. Generated from real match data, real names, real scores — not generic copy.
Two tabs: Resources and Speaker Bio.
Resources generates five personalised reading recommendations based on the attendee's interests, mandate, and match profile. Each recommendation includes a title, why it is relevant to this specific attendee, and a verified working link — the AI confirms URLs exist via live web search before including them.
Speaker Bio generates a full professional biography for the attendee based on their profile — the kind used for event introductions, panel listings, or conference materials. Plus a shorter social media version and expertise highlights.
A new onboarding tour fires exactly once for every first-time user. It walks through Matches, Schedule, Sessions, and Explore — with short, focused explanations of what each one does and why it matters. Fires once and never again. A separate flag ensures the welcome screen and tour do not conflict, each firing independently based on its own completion state.
Everything described in this document is deployed and working right now at luminamatch.base44.app. This is not a wireframe. Not a prototype. A production platform.

The version you are looking at is the beginning, not the end. LUMINA as built for Proof of Talk 2026 is a proof of concept for a much larger platform.
LinkedIn integration — career history, endorsements, network connections, recent professional activity. Crunchbase for funding history and company growth signals. Twitter/X for real-time interest signals and public positioning. A match that today scores 85 because of mandate alignment will score 94 because the AI also sees that both attendees have publicly engaged with the same regulatory discussion on LinkedIn for the past six months.
As attendees move through the venue, the system tracks session attendance and lounge presence. When two highly compatible attendees are in the same room: "Your 94% match is 20 metres away. They are in the Grande Galerie Lounge." Session-by-session briefings: "Three of your top matches are attending the 2pm panel. Here is what to say to each of them." LUMINA becomes a live event intelligence layer.
The relationship does not end when the event does. Version 4 tracks what happened after the meetings. Did a deal close? LUMINA builds a relationship graph over time — across multiple events, across multiple years. Accepted matches train the model. Declined matches teach it constraints. The longer LUMINA runs, the smarter it gets.
Every premium event has this problem. The World Economic Forum. Web Summit. SALT Conference. Money20/20. They all have the same paradox: the right people are in the room, but the connections that should happen do not happen. LUMINA can be white-labelled for any curated, high-stakes event. The underlying AI platform is event-agnostic.
XVentures' portfolio of 100+ companies represents an immediate distribution channel. Every portfolio company that runs events is a potential LUMINA customer. Every Proof of Talk event going forward is a live product demonstration to 2,500 of the most influential people in digital assets.
Three revenue streams. 85%+ gross margins from day one. A compounding proprietary data moat. This is a high-margin AI software business.
LUMINA's moat deepens with every event it runs. The proprietary data it accumulates — which connections led to real outcomes, which mandates resulted in closed deals, which match patterns have the highest conversion to actual meetings — is not available to any competitor. The longer LUMINA runs, the better its algorithm becomes. And the better its algorithm becomes, the more organisers want to use it, which generates more proprietary data. This is a compounding moat.
